From Above

One sunny day. Which is Not today. My granddaughters walked up to the Old Mill at the top of the hill. Beside the abandoned mill there is a little church too. And a wonderful view of the harbour and across to the mainland mountains.

Poros. On a sunnier winter's day

Today it's pouring 'chair legs',  thunder and lightening rumbling all around.
Great day for ducks 🦆🦆🦆
And olive trees

No gnomes today
My gnomes have gone away
......they shall return

G'day Maties

  1. I loved the little video. Raining 'chair legs' is not a saying I've ever heard before. We say it's raining 'cats and dogs'.

  2. Nice video shot of your lovely island. Worth a walk up the hill for that view.
Your meme picture looks like me first thing in the morning!

    1. Yes, please. The sun has come out. Long enough at least to dry some washing

  4. Lovely view of Poros harbour and the strait. Oh for some sunshine... (all that winter rain will mean good spring growth)

    1. Stair rods are very similar to chair legs. Very hard hitting

  6. We haven't had a decent noisy storm for years; even in France.

  7. I love a good storm. The louder the better. Hope it's not too cold for you there.

  8. Interesting description of the rain! We had a thunder storm go back a couple of days back, mostly missed us sadly and hit Melbourne.
