Today's Highlight

 Surprise visitor.

She made our day

Athletic granddaughter Nels running in the hills.

It's 8ks from her house in Neorion to our house. Uphill all the way.

She popped in to see her Nana and Papou, for a swallow of water and a wee chocolate mint for energy.

The last 8ks home, doing the round trip, are at least all downhill.

Bravo Nels Moy

It was a beautiful day, after so many cold rainy ones.

She inspired me to go for a walk too.
Only about 3ks. 1  1/2 each way for me

The sky was blue and the sea was calm when it finally came into view.

  1. A lovely surprise for you. Well done that girl.
I am envious of your blue sky. Ours is dull and grey today. And cold.

    1. It was warm and sunny, completely different from the last week. I hadn't been out walking for ages. It was most enjoyable

  2. I had to convert the Kilometres to miles. I could walk over 9 miles but I couldn't run it. All the sign posts over here are in Kilometres. I still think in miles and we still drive on the left.

    1. NZ changed to metric when I was in High School so I've got used to Kilometres, and kilos and litres. Though for some reason I can still remember pints and gallons too

    1. She often runs up here. It's hard work and usually doesn't want to stop so doesn't pop in. Nice to see her
