Steep dirty steps going up to the Police Station offices. At least they've put in a rail to grab hold of

ReplyDeleteSteps are usually whitewashed at Easter and spruced up by the council. That was months ago of course but it looks as though these haven't been whitewashed for years
DeleteI'm surprised any drivers attempt to travel such narrow roads. The cars get bigger all the time.
ReplyDeleteSmall trucks go up there too. They have to be careful their loads don't hit the lower balconies. In days of yore I drove up there many times. You just have to drive carefully. Very carefully

ReplyDeleteWhen I visited the family in Samos I loved wandering around all the little streets and alleyways. I found lots of interesting places and there was usually someone sitting outside for me to say a kalimera too
That's what lovely about these smaller islands. The neighbours are friendly and are always ready with a smile and a chat
