Bettany

 For those of you who don't know her, Bettany Hughes is an English  broadcaster and author who specialises in classical history. She has presented more than 50 television series on ancient history and archeology at sites all over the world . She's enthusiastic, knowledgeable, decidedly luscious and a few days ago she was on Poros


The always elegant  Bettany and her film crew are recording a new History and Adventure series. Poros will be part of it. 
And that's about all I know
When I find out more then so will you

A plug for this cafeteria underneath the Monastery. They serve homemade sweets and cakes under the shade of a huge Plane tree

    I like her. I first fell in love with Baku and Azerbaijan when she visited the country. It was a few years back and I liked her enthusiasm for her subject.

      She's excellent. Tells the history in an interesting way. Hear get a lot of her programmes. Often on BBC World satellite channel

      Then I'm sure you'll enjoy her programmes. She's done a lot on Greece and Egypt, Turkey.

    I've seen a few episodes of her on TV shows in the past and I really liked it. I'll wait for the episode about Poros.

    I don't know of her at all, but I shall have a look when I'm back in the world of TV. I'd like to see the one she's making on Poros.

    Oh I love her. I’ve watched many of her shows.
    Try and get on film, in the background. Then I’ll be able to says “ ohhh I know her”
