Winter Green

I had better post this before the green turns to brown.

Our larger neighbourhood in it's green winter coat..but not for long...

Our neighbourhood taken from higher up
Our house is just out of the picture

Our neighbour up higher, Yiolanda, takes better photos than me. It all looks emerald green in this photo

Another of her photos
The perfect bow

My photo of the tiny flowers along our verges

Clumps of poppies everywhere

    1. Wish we were just across the Gulley. Our view has too many trees in the way. We can just see the lights of the Athens coast.

  2. I wish we had your green winter coat. We have a white one fit for a polar bear!!!

    1. I'll never complain about our winter!! A little snow is fun but a polar bear coating would be worse than our summer browning.

  3. In some areas of our state. They didn’t get any green at all. No rain to speak of.
But in Queensland they have had too much rain with floods. So their green is now under water.
I’m hoping some of that rain comes down here to where it’s needed.
    You do have spectacular views

    1. That's a huge difference from one place to another. We are so lucky , touch wood, no floods and good rainfall this year

  5. I noticed a large area of Primroses here recently. Almost like being out in the countryside; not in central Brighton.

    1. I do like the summer garden. It's bare and clean but so love it when the greenery reappears.
