Christmas Day

Happy name day anyone named Christos or Christina.

A very Merry Xmas was had by all in our house.

We were all good little children and Santa visited with a sack full of goodies

 Secret Santas
Screams of delight

A table full of goodness
The Yorkshire puds, the stuffing, tear n share garlic bread, the gravy, brussel sprouts, smashed spuds, kumara and the stuffed deboned chicken, all the important stuff, were the best we had ever cooked.

Washed down with a few bottles of  NZ Sauvignon Blanc.

Down the other end of the table there was wild pig and some sort of local plonk.

And the best company ever
Me and my friend Jan

Christmas greetings to you all.

  5. Nice that you got to enjoy Kiwi wine. K looks like he's having fun dressed as Santa. We've only just had the sun come out after the whole country having a week of rain.

    1. Thank goodness we can find fine Marlborough wine online. We also had a 2nd bottle of Greek sauv blanc. No comparison but still better than local plonk

  6. We had two tables too. Unfortunately I hadn't taken measurements, so the two had to be separated. The hooligans on one table; the adults on the other. And FAR TOO MUCH food.

    1. Sounds like a greek feast! The kids took lots of leftovers with them but we still leftover leftovers!
Our hooligans have grown up now but they still get the Extra table. They're always first to leave the table and take it away as they go.

  7. Good food, family and friends, perfect way to celebrate. I'm keeping this short because I have tried to comment three times previously. Crossing my fingers this time...
