Summer photos. Some from the sea and some from land.
The little church of the Holy Cross.
The ruins of a Venetian fortress, with more ancient settlements underneath, guarding the entrance to the harbour
This year's lager. Only served at the Navy canteen.
Strange name for a beach bar

Our thornless dwarf bougainvillia in full bloom
Aahhh.. so lovely. Could do with some of that right now.
ReplyDeleteThe dwarf Bougainvillea takes me straight back to the Algarve. Smashing photos LA.
ReplyDeleteLovely memories of a happy summer :)
ReplyDeleteGlorious summer.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what it’s like experiencing one.
I fear this year we may miss it all together
At least I can enjoy pictures of sunny days here on your blog.
Such great photos….it makes me drool to view them. Your bougainvillea looks beautiful. Ours was looking great, but I saw aphids, and Romeo over powered the plant with soapy water. It’s coming back to looking great again, but ~ winter. Haha
ReplyDeleteGreat photos.
ReplyDeleteLooks great. A bit hilly in places for me though!
