We Stay at Home

is the slogan of the hour, the day, the month and probably the year.
Who was glad to see the back of 2019?
Couldn't have been worse than 2020

We needed some medical supplies
They came up via the children
The bag was tied to the gate
We shouted out  'howdy-dos' and they were off into the horizon

Athletic grandchildren getting some exercise on the back road where they will only meet goats and tortoises

  1. Ah but what a beautiful place to stay at home in, and such a lovely family to look out for you.

  3. Family-is-wonderful!!!!!

    At a time like this!!!!!

Let's face it, sometimes we all have issues with some of our families. But in a crisis, blood is thicker than water, and they pull together.

Oh and, concerning your comment.... Hobbies. Very good idea, for men too. Mine has always been a wood worker. He has always been able to go out in his shop, and forget everything. -smile-

Maybe yours could take up whittling...? A piece of wood and a small knife, is all that's required. -smile-

    Stay wise, clam, safe.

    1. Wish he would whittle. We have suggested so many things. He doesn't read and doesn't particularly like TV. Thank goodness he found Facebook and lots of old friends there

  4. It looks like 2020 is going to be a year that few people forget, unfortunately. I will be glad when the crisis is past and we can get back to some form of normality.
