Translation..
Dear Santa,
This year all I want for Christmas is a cup of coffee,
At a cafeteria!
Thank you very much
Shops selling Xmas stuff can reopen on Monday but lockdown generally is extended till December 15th.
I bet everything opens up after that. The shops are ready for a shot of cash and the shoppers are raring to fill their bags with Xmas cra...cheer
Fingers crossed for you. Keep safe.
ReplyDeleteI don't really want to go out though a leisurely coffee in the winter sun and a bit of people watching would make a change
DeleteLOL that last sentence made me laugh :))
ReplyDeleteA load of 'cheer' gets bought to fill up stockings or because it's got a Santa on it. I have avoided a lot of useless 'cheer' this year by buying online
DeleteHope you get your wish. But remember.......masks, space, hands!
ReplyDeleteLove that you have a slogan for everything. It certainly keeps it all in your mind
DeleteYes, keep safe.
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem. It seems safe here in this backwater
DeleteBecause I listen to UK news, I know more about their rules and regs than I do about here. I do my shopping once a week, and follow all the advised procedures. Santa has promised that he'll still come on the big day; I'm ironing his suit.
ReplyDeleteI've got our Santa suit all clean and pressed and his beard got special treatment this year. We've even got a very good whiskey to leave put for him. It's been a tough year. He'll need a few 'bottoms up' before he slides down the chimney
DeletePeople watching is a must for any blog writer. Enjoy your trip.
ReplyDeleteI think this year should have been the ideal opportunity to cut all the commercial Christmas cr@p and go back to basics. Not likely to happen though.
ReplyDeleteoh you really need to be hree, we are having coffees in cafes etc.
ReplyDeleteWe are so enjoying finally being able to go out and have a life
ReplyDeleteI feel for you guys hopefully you will get out and about soon too
