Poppi's March bracelet
Notice her cute and discreet tattoo
And her very fancy nails
Another non meat and very traditional dish. I make it in the winter when cabbage is fresh and cheap
I'd add thinly sliced carrot too. Gives it a bit of colour and lots of dill for flavour

poppy's tattoo tells me she might be a very happy person, that's always good.
ReplyDeleteAlways jumping for joy lol
DeleteI think I have mentioned before that when I was in Moldova we made friendship bracelets.
ReplyDeleteCoincidentally I decided to eat more cabbage last night whilst watching Korean cooking! The monk said that stir fries are not suitable for cabbage unless the cabbage is softened first. I always wondered where I went wrong with stir fries!
Yes, I remember Moldova. It's interesting to learn of so many similar traditions around the Balkans.
DeleteAs for the cabbage, it does need quite a lot of cooking. You've reminded me of chow mein. Does that have cabbage? I'm checking. I loved that
The plain red and white bracelet looks lovely and something we can make.
ReplyDeleteHere in Australia it’s our girls getting tattoos and the boys staying clean skin.
Which is the opposite of when I was growing up.
It’s a topsy turvie world
Tattoos are very popular with the females in this family. Not huge 'in the eye' ones though thank goodness
DeleteI would like that cabbage dish but P can't stand even the smell of cabbage cooking so I'd have to wait until he's not around!
ReplyDeleteI'll put up another vegetable one soon. They're popping up all over the net now . And they're all very traditional
DeleteI often eat both Kimchi and Sauerkraut, so this would probably suit me too!
ReplyDeleteIt's going d for a change and very easy
DeleteNail art is very sophisticated now, and great fun.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing the designs on nails. The granddaughters live it
