Sitting here in our cold and wintry island, with a blanket and hot water bottle, expecting overnight temperatures of below zero and feeling very, very envious of your photos of people in short sleeves!
ReplyDeleteOh JC, and we are complaining of temperatures around 19o. Time for a winter holiday?
DeleteGood Luck to your son in law with the new engine of his Socrates!
ReplyDeleteCross fingers. He missed a lot of work at the end of summer but is working hard now
DeleteWherever transport is involved, be it water or on land, there are always engines to be changed. My memories are of my dad and later my brothers changing engines over weekends, nights, holidays, you name it, there was always something to be fixed. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteMy father did good business fixing farm machinery. I t was always urgent, fields to be tilled, hay to be cut
DeleteWonderful photos, hope all goes well now for your son in law.
ReplyDeleteHe should be fine for a few years, engine wise at least
DeleteLooks idyllic as always. 3rd day in a row of rain here.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe its still raining there. So far we cant complain, a bit of rain and not too cold, yet
DeleteIt looks so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteIt is in winter!! lol Fewer people
DeleteThe weather looks awesome. I’m currently sitting with a blanket on my lap and the heating going
ReplyDeleteI think the gods forgot to turn the thermostat onto summer for us
You're still having extremes. Hope by Christmas the weather will have sorted itself out.
DeleteLovely blue skies. Cold here; -2 C this morning.
ReplyDelete-2, heavens to Betsy. That's freezing. Our winter is approaching slowly. Thank goodness
DeleteOh to live in some where like your paradise LA.
ReplyDeleteSummer is making money time - winter is enjoying quite times and catching up time…..or so it seems
ReplyDeleteSummer seems to have lost its way here in Melbourne- it keeps making uturns and going back up the highway. Didn’t make it over 11° yesterday!
I liked this look into daily life there. It's always so interesting to know about other places, and of course, it's so based around water there. So very different than our part of the world here. Water taxis!! -Jenn
