Awesome Artichokes

Just look at these gorgeous artichokes. They might not be for eating but boy are they beautiful

My granddaughter just sent me today's photos of yesterday's artichokes

Tonight
Look at the size and colour of the flower


If you don't want to eat them just leave them alone and Mother Nature will reward you with a work of art

      I quite like artichokes but I don't like cleaning them. So much nicer to admire their flowers

    Admitting to never eating artichoke before.
    That's a marvellous lavender blue colour - could you possibly use the flowers for dying?

    Oooh. My favourite colour. I had a dress that colour when I was much, much younger. I wore it to death!
