It's blowing a gale right now as it is in your place too I heard. A lot of people were sitting outside drinking wine, very noisily. I stayed home and lit the fire like you and enjoyed a wine and a good book. I'm reading Dervla Murphy's book about her, and your, train journey across Russia. What a woman and what a history. Not many women alone would have made the journey as you did. I just lit the fire and put the tea on and poured a glass of wine. If I could turn it all upside down I would be in Greece, sitting outside that cafe with my woolly hat and feeling quite content with whatever it is they are drinking and going home with a jar of honey. We don't have many signs of Spring here but I know other parts of England do. I am happy with whatever we get here. Thanks for the post, I enjoyed it and the pictures.
