There's a pot of basil in there too.
Anything green is welcome
Red hot peppers and mint which is loving the constant rainfall
Red hot peppers and mint which is loving the constant rainfall
We've had quite a lot of rain and the temperatures are still in the early 20s. Perfect growing weather.

What a welcome difference. Lovely to see the fresh green after a hot, dry summer.
ReplyDeleteI love my winter garden even though there's so much oxalis. Green oxalis!
DeleteDefinitely better than here right now. We could grow rice in our garden which is turning into a paddy field!
ReplyDeleteLuckily we have a lot of sunshiny days as well. No rice growing here. Just weeds
DeleteWow. Huge difference. It’s always so amazing to me. Once you add water how it flourishes.
ReplyDeleteWill it stay green all winter, or will it be too cold and die off?
In a month's time the nasturtiums will be rampaging through the garden and the oxalis will be knee high!
DeleteThat sounds like a description of our area at the moment, warm, wet and everything growing at a great rate, I've been out gardening today but it got too hot. It's meant to rain tonight, hopefully not tomorrow though.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same weather at this time of the year. My s in law, says her garden is flourishing, especially the tomatoes
DeleteWhat an amazing change in one month, the first rain fell here today, but it will only last two days.
ReplyDeleteHuge change in one month but we've had a lot of rain
DeleteWe have colder weather announced for next week, with even the possibility of Frost next Thursday. WE SHALL SEE! For the moment, all is OK.
ReplyDeleteI like the temperatures now. I hope they hold
DeleteI would like to grow nasturtiums but for some reason I don't have alot of luck.
ReplyDeleteNasturtiums really are a favourite of mine.
DeleteThe transformation of your garden is amazing! I am going to try nasturtiums in the spring, I absolutely love them.
ReplyDeleteThey're a winter thing here. They die out completely in the summer and return by themselves in autumn.
DeleteThe speed of the change is remarkable. You must alao have very fertile soil.
ReplyDeleteMy plants do much better in pots. Once the rains start the change from that dry brown summer look is amazing.
DeleteWow, just wow. Your garden looks amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteHa ha... Parts of it are. I only photo the best of it. But it's so lush and green now.... Even though most of it is oxalis or nastutiums
